Message I've tried searching to see if a code 42 ( fuel temp sensor) will put me in safety boost. So far I haven't found anything that implies it would but I thought I'd ask just to be sure. I've done the PRVR delete so the fuel temp sensor will have no effect on the performance of the car anymore, right??

My problem is my car won't boost past 7 psi. The only code that comes up is a code 42. I have no boost leaks. I just checked to see if the stock boost solenoids were hooked up and both are. Vacuum lines are connected and so are the wire connections.

Car runs super smooth other than the fact that it doesn't produce more than 7 psi. Yes I'm measuring using a electronic boost gauge, not the stock one.

any help is appreciated
